In a move that signals the rise of creator-led marketing in Sri Lanka, Axo Creative — the brainchild of two of the country’s most influential digital personalities — has officially launched its first office, taking a bold step from online buzz to real-world business impact.

At the helm are Rashith Yapa and Manitha “ManiYa” Abeysiriwardana, a duo whose combined online following and creative track record have already made waves across the content and branding landscape. Now, they’re taking things up a notch — with a physical HQ built to fuel creative storytelling, influencer campaigns, and bold brand partnerships.

The opening of Axo Creative saw the participation of many well-known industry figures.

The Creators Behind the Brand

Rashith kicked off his journey in 2019 as a content creator and musician, even making it to the stage of Derana Dream Star Season 9. Since then, he’s carved a niche in marketing and brand strategy — most notably with the viral brand Bananas by Hamilton Thadii, known for its witty, disruptive campaigns.

Meanwhile, ManiYa has built one of the country’s largest creator platforms with two YouTube channels — one nearing 500K subscribers, and a gaming channel with over 200K followers. A software engineer by degree, he's now deep in the marketing game, armed with CIM qualifications and real-world campaign experience.

A Milestone Moment

Earlier this year, Axo Creative proved its power by co-organising the Munchee Savoury Digi Awurudu 2025 — a festival-style creator event that brought together over 200 influencers, celebrities, and brands in a celebration of digital culture.

With the launch of their office, the Axo founders are making it clear: this is just the beginning.

"We’re not just building an agency. We’re building a new era where creators are the marketers,” they shared in a joint statement.

From TikToks to taglines, from reels to retail — Axo Creative is where influence meets execution.
